Lou Lou

Kaleigh Louise is definitely a girl, I love it. She can get dirty and rowdy like the boys but when she is done she is done and wants to get cleaned up. She loves getting dressed up, fixing her hair, putting on her perfume, and getting her purse. And she loves shopping till she is hungry or tired she is 2 :-). The girls in the church think she is so much fun and will take her shopping, lunch, etc. she is spoiled. Today she is going with Anjel a girl from church, Anjel has been gone for almost 2 weeks cause of holidays and Kaleigh is so excited, she is all dressed up has her purse and saying I ready Anjel lol.

Some things are hereditary

So I didn't know my husband when he was younger but am told many stories and know him now. Some of these stories are of him sleep walking and talking, he has done it since we have been married but nothing like the stories of when he was younger. Well my son Judah talks in his sleep all the time but last night was the first time he walked. They were sleeping in my bed and had gone to bed about 4 hrs before I had so they were sound asleep, Judah had mumbled a little earlier before I decided to go to bed, I went in my room on my side of the bed and turned on my light, lol as soon as I turned it on Judah popped up got out of bed, went to his dresser and started taking out clothes I was laughing and decided to video it was so funny :-)

Like Father Like Son

My 2 boys think the world of their daddy they want to be just like daddy, anything and everything daddy does they want to do, and they have a wonderful example of a daddy. My husband is a wonderful daddy and I couldn't of asked or prayed for a more wonderful daddy to have children with.

My Little Girl

There is something about little girls that you just want to protect, you want to protect all your children, but boys you want to be men so if they get hurt you tell them to tuff it out sort of speak. Little Girls melt their daddy's hearts. When I was pregnant with my daughter from the time I found out I was pregnant my husband said it was a girl, I wanted a girl but with two boys wasn't going to get my hopes up for a girl until I knew, lol, but as soon as I knew for sure I would tell my husband she is going to have you wrapped around her finger, he would say no she won't she is not going to be a brat. Well she is 2 1/2 and she has her daddy wrapped all around her finger, no she is not a brat :), but on the same note her daddy has her wrapped all around her finger. I love watching it, it is the most precious thing. I know he is not looking forward to the day that she will get married, if the Lord tarries, I am not either. But I think she will ALWAYS be DADDY's LITTLE GIRL. Here are a couple Daddy-Little Girls Songs :) enjoy

Teach Your Children.....

There is a Bible verse that talks about teaching your children in the way they should go and when they are old they will not depart from it. How true is that, every little thing we do our children learn from us, if you yell your children are likely to yell, if you say something your children are likely to say the same thing, if we act a certain way your children are more than likely to act the same way, why we need to be very careful with our tongue and our actions. If my child is doing something that I am not liking, says something I do not like, I check myself before getting onto them and then talk to them. For example I would occasionally say "freaking" not all the time but still, I never realized how bad it sounded till I heard my 4 year old eldest say it, he didn't know any better he had heard mommy say it so it must be ok, needless to say I don't say that neither do my children :). Anyways we need to be careful with our words and our actions. A little story, every time my kids hurt themselves I always pray for their owie and the other kids usually help me, we just pray very simply God touch (child) owie make the hurt go away and heal it in JESUS NAME, Amen. About a month ago I tried chopping my finger off :) went to ER and got stitched up, while my husband and I were at the ER the kids told the sweet lady from the church who was with them they wanted to pray for their mommy so they did. I got home from the ER and they were excited to see I was ok gave me loves and then got back in bed. Everyday since I hurt myself they ask me at least once a day, either Judah or Jacob, if they can pray for my owie, they put their little hand on my hand and say "Jesus touch my mommy's hand make it better in Jesus Name, Amen". Last night my husband with the boys left town to go to Spokane to pick up some stuff and see Nana and Papa, who they LOVE, my husband called very late and said are you asleep yet, I replied no why, he said well I just put the boys in bed and Judah wanted to call you and pray for your owie. I LOVE IT. I must be doing something right, thank you Jesus, when they want to pray. Thought for today Enjoy

Starting School

Well as the summer is winding down and school is starting back up, I am thinking I am so not ready. I homeschool and all of my homeschooling stuff is somewhere in storage all is well though we should be in our house very soon. Jacob is starting second grade and Judah is starting pre-K, Jacob cannot wait to start school and Judah is beside himself that he will be starting school with Jacob. Now I am trying to think of ways to entertain LouLou while school is in session :) As the boys start school I am starting school as well, YAY, I am very excited. While I don't like mothers who go to school with young children, cause it can take away from the kids, the school I found for my certification is at my own pace, I don't have assignment/test deadlines, it can take me 6months or longer it is all at my own pace. The no deadline and at your own pace is my number one priority I love school and have been wanting to go to school for a long time but didn't want it taking me from my kids, husband and other things that are more important. So what am I going to school for you may be asking yourself, I am going to school to be a Massage Therapist, lol I think my husband is more excited than I am, he gets to be my guinea pig/ test subject plus has all these diff ideas of other things. I am very excited though and cannot wait to start by books and everything will be here this week.

I love this little poem

Little
HANDS and FEET

Thank you Lord for LITTLE hands
that SMUDGE my walls and doors
Thank you too for dirty FEET with
MUD upon my floors.

Thank you for these little HANDS
that SPILLED their milk today
And pulled the tail of the CAT
that MADE it run away

And I'm thankful for tHESE little
feet with SHOES on all askew.
And little hands that REACH for
me WHEN the day is through.

And I'm certain that these little FEET
have a MIND of all their own
As they step through LIFE while years
pass by, for SOON they will be grown.

The sticky prints upon the WALL
Grow higher every year
But silently and one by ONE they
SOON will disappear.

So I'll cherish all the HAND prints
and TRACKS upon my floor,
Cause before I know, THERE will
COME a day, when they're gone
FOREVERMORE.

I am so neglegant

So in the midst of all my chaos the last year I have completely neglected my blog. It has been a very interesting year with lots of excitement, ups, downs, and trials, but I wouldn't change anything. It has taught me who loves me and is there for me no matter what, who means the most to me and who I mean the most to. God has placed people in my life this last year that I cannot imagine my life without they have become my family and I am so very thankful and grateful for them and that God has blessed me with them. Well anyways Jacob started school this last year and took off with reading he loves reading everything and trying to figure out what mommy and daddy are spelling out, he turned 7 in January he will be 8 in a few months (SCREAM) where is the baby that I couldn't wait to take home from the hospital, it makes me sad how fast he is growing up. Judah will be 4 in a couple weeks, we call him mini me, he doesn't look like he should be 4 but he keeps up with the best of them. He is def still MOODY MUDAH I hope he grows out of it before he gets married or his poor wife, LOL JK. He is a lot of fun even for all of his moods and he can be such HAM, he has all the girls wrapped around his fingers. Kaleigh is 2 oh my, my baby girl is 2, and she is everyones sweetheart, she can be stubborn and such a tomboy but it so much a girly girl at the same time. Well that is about all for now I will try and post a little more often but we will see we are very busy.

I AM THE MODERN DAY SUPERHERO WOMAN :-)

As a Mommy-Wife-and everything else to my family of 5 I am the modern day superhero woman. I am speaking for all Mommies and Wives. As a mommy and wife I am a nurse, repairwoman, decorator, "Gourmet" chef, Biblical Theologian ( to my kids at least), Lawyer, Judge, Police, Jury, Teacher, Student, Cheerleader, Advertising Specialist, Accountant, well I am tired of naming everything basically you name it I do it. I am the Queen of multitasking.

I can carry a diaper bag, a toddler, hold a 6 year old hand unwillingly and push a stroller/cart -- all at the same time.

I can be cooking dinner, cleaning house, breaking up a fight, and take care of a fussy baby -- all at the same time.

When I am in a public place and have to use the restroom, I have to take three kids with me and somehow manage to use the restroom change 2 diapers and wash 8 hands.

When one of them is hurt, something about Mommy/Me makes it ALL BETTER --that is the best feeling

If I don't get up early enough before kids wake up to do my work out, take a shower, and eat something it most likely won't happen or at least not like I want.

When the house is too quiet, it means trouble. Serious trouble. And with my kids especially my wild 6 year old you have to find out what he is doing but really don't want to because especially at other peoples house it is MORTIFYING.

Going to the church is where I get most of my intelligent conversations although it is amazing how smart kids are. I do talk to my husband when he is home.

I don't know what it is but they could not want anything to do with the kitchen all day and then when you are in there trying to make them lunch or make dinner you can't hardly get them out.

Quiet time is when the babies are napping, and believe me quiet time is essential, it is my time to recharge.

When my house is all vacuumed and swept and all the laundry is done and put away my house feels CLEAN and IMMACULATE.

If my son gets sugar I make him run around the house 6 or more times and usually it doesn't help, some people don't think it effects him but it DOES.

and then there are these times

my 2 1/2 year old kissing me continually without stopping

my 6 year old after dinner and during dinner "Mommy that is so good, so good, can I have more"

my 10 month old getting excited when I walk in her room to get her out of bed, its like she has seen me for the first time.

watching my children learn what prayer is from an infant, raising their hands and clapping, learning to say prayers at bed time and when eating

there are so many but I don't have time to write them all out. But with everything I do I think I am the Modern Day SuperHero Woman, not Michelle Obama, Oprah, Brittney Spears, Martha Stewart, or whoever else there might me. Also my husband Is my Modern Day SuperHero and my kids but that is another Post.

Getting Ready for a NEW ADVENTURE

Well in two days the kids and I will be making a first GRAND ADVENTURE for us. I will be driving by myself down to California, I have driven down there many times but never by myself with three kids, I must be out of my mind. We will be leaving Thursday going to Roseburg spending the day and night with my grandparents and then leaving very early Friday to head to Sacramento. There I will stay the weekend and then go to Bakersfield to pick up my a friend of mine and her two wonderful kids then we are going to SeaWorld for 3 nights and then back to Sacramento for me for another week. All this driving by myself. Really I am looking forward to it I remember taking road trips with my mom and it was so much fun and we made so many memories. So while I am driving I am sure I will have my moments where I will feel like I am going INSANE, WHAT WAS I THINKING, and I WILL NEVER DO THIS AGAIN, I am sure I will. Well I will be sure to post pictures of our LONG trip and try and update my blog, I know I don't have many followers but for those of you that do I am sure you will enjoy it. TTFN

Some People Amaze Me (and not in a good way)

I recently had a close person to me leave this status on Facebook, i will be using Anonymous for the names plus numbers.

Anonymous status updater; Our Daughter cried for about 2 hours last night while we tried to sleep. This "letting her cry" thing is difficult! :(

These were the comments left by other people.

Anonymous commenter 1:
This too shall pass..that is one of the hardest things to do.

Anonymous commenter 2:
Agreed...remember those nights like yesterday. Its only seasonal though :) Will come & go thru the years...

Anonymous commenter 3:
The No-Cry Sleep Solution by Elizabeth Pantley. This book has worked well for both of our children. The crying it out is just really hard on the parents and the kids...

Anonymous commenter 4:
It is very hard....I started my daughter at 7 months doing that and it took about 2 weeks. Just be consistent, it will pay off when your getting a full nights sleep! Good luck :)

Anonymous commenter 5:
It is hard to hear your little one crying and doing nothing, but it will be well worth it. Trust me.

Anonymous commenter 6
That's why God invented sound machines!

Danielle Carlson
Anonymous commenter 4 and 5 are right the first few nights to couple weeks depending on child are rough but it is so worth it, Kaleigh already puts herself to sleep and she doesn't cry but she did for about the first week, Jacob never cried, and Judah lasted the longest his was a month not screaming that only lasted about a week but he would cry and whimper for... See More about a month but now he goes and puts himself in bed. It is very hard and for some reason it was a lot harder with Kaleigh than the boys to let her sit there and cry but it is so worth it in the end. Plus I read this baby book one time that it teaches and is one of the process of them learning to be self reliant. It is tough but YES WELL WORTH IT.

Anonymous commenter 3 again:

(as i duck and hide - because the comments will probably start flying. ...and since i am the only one on this side of the fence.)

it is interesting that everyone is saying "let her scream".

i wasn't going to say anything else, but this made me LOL... "teaching them to be self-resiliant"... ... See More

Sorry, but that is funny. might as well let them touch the stove and get a third degree burn to teach them that it is hot, or let them try drugs so they know the dangers of overdosing. That logic is bogus.

Babies cannot be self-resiliant...if you think they can, don't feed your baby and see what happens. But a funny point that probably a lot of people buy in to.

Help your child transition lovingly - they need you...and it isn't necessarily about how comfortable you want to be. Those cries are a signal. What if something is going on, and you discover that you neglected legitimate cries simply because you wanted your "own" time.

well first off I didn't comment again but believe me I wanted to so bad, I think if I would have though I might have offended some people so now I am going to vent on my blog:) First of all I would have told this commenter I didn't say Self-resilient I said self RELIANT. Second their hand getting burnt and trying drugs are completely different. If I warned them or told them no no about touching something hot and they touched and got burnt guess what they are not going to touch that again and will listen when you tell them its HOT, and you job as a parent is to teach your child the difference between RIGHT and WRONG so if they do try drugs did you do your job as a parent right. Now I know kids are going to do things and you cannot control them all their lives, but if my kid ever did try drugs ( which I pray and teach him why not to that it is bad) I pray that when he did try those drugs it made him so sick that he felt like he was dying because you know what then he would learn oh man MOM was RIGHT. Third feeding your baby also has nothing to do with this I said it was ONE OF THE PROCESSES didn't I and your baby does eventually learn to eat on his own. He is right cries are a signal SOMETIMES, sometimes your baby just cries, if you are in tune with your baby and know your baby which in my opinion I beleive a good mother is
a mother can differentiate those cries, babies have several different types of cries, they have a mad cry, a defiant cry, a lonely cry, upset cry, hurt cry, pain cry, and many more. I KNOW MY BABIES CRIES and if it is a cry I am concerned about then Yes I go check on them. I have in my opinion some of the best kids, yes they have their flaws, but they are GOOD KIDS. I am always complimented in public places on how good my kids are, and even in restaurants. I would like to see what Anonymous commenter 3 kids are like. And another thing I have 3 kids I take care of, a house I keep spotless, my husbands business I am constantly helping him with plus many other things, so yes usually when my kids go to bed at 8 or 9 that is MY time to unwind after a hectic day before I go to bed, and also I am usually doing dishes or laundry so I don't have to worry about the kids there are many other things I have to do. I AM A STAY AT HOME MOM SO MY JOB NEVER ENDS.

WOW I need to update this more often

Well a lot has happened since my last post. I have been so busy with numerous things I have neglected to keep everyone posted, shame on me, LOL. Well first of all let me start off my saying HAPPY NEW YEAR, so far it hasn't been the best but it hasn't been the worst. LOTS OF EVERDAY STRESS. Our eldest Miracle turned 6, I cannot believe it, I didn't think it would bother me but as the day draws closer for him to go to school I realize it really is bothering me, I AM GOING TO MISS HIM. But he is ready he asks every day how much longer. I ended up having a Tonsillectomy, that was an interesting experience but I am so glad I did it. My wonderful mom and mother in law were here to help me through my recovery. If you are considering a Tonsillectomy and Adnoidectomy and would like to know anything, just ask I will tell you the absolute truth. I turned 25 yahoo, although on my birthday I wasn't in the celebrating mood, because I had my surgery the day before my birthday. I am now :). I was so excited cause my insurance will go down and I can rent a car without my husband. I know the little things that excite us. Jeremy and I celebrated our 8th Valentines together and Lou Lou's first. She was so cute in her pictures. Jeremy had his 30th Birthday, He was totally surprised by his parents showing up and having family and close friends show up for his birthday dinner. It was great he had no clue and he is the hardest person to surprise. Jacob lost his first tooth, that was interesting all on its own. I was getting aggravated with him and brushed his teeth for him and did it a little to hard which popped his tooth which was already loose out. He freaked at first cause he saw blood, the kid does not like blood mostly on himself and then he was worried that we was never gonna get another tooth, so we had to explain to him the growing up process. After that talk he was fine especially after he found out he was going to get MONEY, that makes everything better. Then this last Thursday he had to go to his 6 year appt and get one shot so he would be ready for school next year. If you know Jacob in the past years of getting shots I have had to make Jeremy go with me so Jeremy could hold him down while they gave him a shot. I told Jacob he had to be a big boy and let them give him the shot because he had to get that shot before he could go to school, at first when he first saw the needle his eyes got huge, the nurse asked me to hold his hands, she gave him the shot he didn't flinch, cry, nothing, I was so proud of him. Later that day after the shot he had said something about going to school tomorrow, I told him he had to wait 240 more days first. In the past week our lives have been chaotic, Kaleigh got sick I had to take her to Urgent Care and found out she had Pneumonia (which all my kids have gotten with asthma problems around 9-12 months) so we got a antibiotic and baby albuterol for her. Then two days after taking her to the docs I had to take Judah to the docs, because he had had a fever for the past 3 days, was having some coughing and slight breathing problems found out he may have had a little bit of what Kaleigh had but his main problem was that he had a SEVERE EAR INFECTION, so had to get an antibiotic for him. I am so sick of antibiotics. LOL. Anyways that is basically all that has been going on in our lives and most of it has happened within the last month, hence why my blogs have been neglected.

Kaleigh Lou is 7 1/2 months

Wow it is hard to imagine that Kaleigh Lou is already 7 1/2 months where does time go it seems like I just had her, anyways she had her 6 month doc appt yesterday and we think she is the fattiest thing we have seen, well she isn't, for us she is but for everyone else she isn't. She weighs 16lbs 4oz and was 27 inches in length and her head was 17 inches around, which makes her 20% on weight, 90% on length, her doctor called her long and lean, I looked at her and chuckled, he kind of chuckled with me. Then I said yep she is definitely a girl always looks like she weighs more than she really does, LOL.

Pulmonary Stenosis

Well Kaleigh had her Cardiologist appt last Monday, it went very well she still has the heart murmur due to the Pulmonary Stenosis but it is VERY MINOR. It is something she is going to have to grow out of, if you don't know anything about Pulmonary Stenosis it is hard to explain but you can google it and it will pop up an explanation. She is doing so good Dr. Chang didn't think it necessary to en Ecco so she goes back in 6 months right after her 1st birthday for another Check up and they will do an Ecco then. Thank You so much for all your prayers, they are working.

My Poor Kids

LOL a week ago Jeremy and I left and went to Vegas for 3 days for a business seminar, which was interesting but not my thing so I got bored. While we were gone my wonderful parents watched all 3 of the kids at our house, here are a few things that were said and done,

Judah only wanted to eat Sour Cream
Jacob asked if he was ever gonna see his mommy again, lol poor guy
Kaleigh got excited when my parents put her in our bed with them
Judah was MOODY MUDAH as always

I am so thankful and grateful my parents were able to watch them, I know my kids had fun and it is good for them to get away from mommy and daddy and spend some time with just their grandparents. It was also nice to get away for a couple days even though just sitting wore me out more than what I do everyday, I didn't realized how much I missed them till I saw them. My dad picked us up from the airport and had Jacob and Judah with him, they were excited to see us, Jacob said "hi mommy I missed you so much" and then fell asleep, Judah grabbed my arm and held it and talked my ear off, and when we got home Kaleigh was not sure what to think, she was a little upset at me, the next day she wouldn't let me out of her sight everytime I went to where she couldn't see me she would start crying. But all in all they had fun and it was good for them, they need to get away more often.

Cardiologist

Well we were supposed to have Kaleigh's Cardiologist appt almost a month ago but we all got the little piggy (H1N1) so we thought it best to cancel it and reschedule, so it was rescheduled for Nov 16th which is Monday, I very nervous and doing my best to not worry and leave it in God's hands. That is easier said than done and I am not sure why, I KNOW God will HEAL her, PROTECT her and LOVES her more than I do. I think it is just being mommy I want to have complete control over it and it isn't mine to have control over, so please continue to pray with me/us. And I will keep you all updated.

Pumpkin Patch

Well last Saturday I took all 3 of my kids to the pumpkin patch for the first time it was all 3 of theirs. They had a blast, we went to Roloff Farms, Roloff farms is ran by Matt and Amy Roloff from Little People Big World. It was a lot of fun. They all got a pumpkin and then we picked out a pumpkin for daddy. They saw a baby lion, went through the hay maze and made it out, Jacob thought he was so smart and all that for making it out and Judah I think was just glad he made it out. LOL. There was a petting zoo and an old fashioned house oh yes and then the hay pyramid I thought we were going to have to take with us. Here are some pictures.

Cardiologist next Wed

Well Kaleigh has her Cardiologist Appt next Wed the more it draws near the more anxious and nervous I get. I just need to have faith and trust. If it was only as easy to do as it is to say it. LORD help me.

My Third Inspirational Miracle

Kaleigh was born at 39 weeks so she is my first I went full term with. She was born with a hole in her heart that hasn't closed yet and a heart murmur, other than that she is perfect and healthy she is the light of our family and Definitely the Princess.
